Dr. Sergey Trubko
Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist 

Dr. Trubko has 30 years of experience in the design and development of optical systems for industrial, scientific and aerospace products. Joining RemoteReality in 1998, he created and developed for the company novel high-resolution panoramic optical systems for visible and thermal imaging. Previously, Dr. Trubko was chief of the optical design department at the Mendeleev Metrology Institute, senior scientist at the S.I. Vavilov State Optical Institute, both in St. Petersburg, Russia; and was senior optical engineer at Symbol Technologies in the U.S. He received his Ph.D. and his M.S. and B.S. degrees with honors from the University of Fine Mechanics and Optics, St. Petersburg. Dr. Trubko holds nine patents and has published a lens design book and articles in technical journals.
